Thanks for the link. Always liked "Madame X" with her strap down, too bad Sargent succumbed to public pressure:

yes, exquisite art. love the turn of the arm, delicate "crown" on the head, posture of the subject in profile. one can keep looking at this painting & find new details to admire & enjoy.
