SO I got this betta about two weeks ago. I noticed his fins look a bit dull, so I wanted to know if u guys think he is healthy. I shall post a picture.
I juzt want to know if he's healthy in terms of his fins. ANd if u notice anything I should be concerned about, please let me know.
Your help will be greatly appreciated by me and my fish! ^_^
looks like a nice healthy crowntail to me.
crowntail can loose color on their tips, typically when stressed, once they relax again the color comes in (this also happens to the body and is common in any number of fish when stressed)
in generall his color looks good, deep and bright, finnage is nice and full, no signs of fin rot, nothign around the gills that says to worry...
He's beautiful! Crowntails are supposed to have "raggedy" looking fins, totally normal. I like his coloring, it's very similar to my betta. Is that a plastic plant in his tank, though? Just be careful if it is, sharp edges can rip a betta's fins. I use silk or live plants in my betta's tank.
it is a healthy fish the coloration is good the fins will get better with time it is most probably because of the stress and new place it will get better as soon as he get use to of ur place
That is a gorgeous crowntail. He is looking very healthy.
