Beware the southbound corner at Route 66 and Lockett. You cannot take a left onto Route 66 there, you have to turn right. Most drivers will turn their heads left to check traffic, and will not come to a dead stop, especially when the road is empty. The police know that, and are sitting right there. When they stop you they will give you the 'all 4 tires must come to a complete stop' spiel, which I'm sure they have used time and time again. Flagstaff used to be a cool place but I think I will be going to Prescott and Sedona more than Flagstaff now - t's left a bad taste.

Why is it so hard to just stop? Is that 1-2 seconds of rolling through it really going to hinder your plans?

You can't really roll through a stop sign it's dangerous and blaming the police for doing the job is sorta complainin about spilt milk. UNLESS they are following you for miles and miles like they do around here! That's harassment and it's deff. not cool. With all the cutbacks these people are just trying to hold onto the job and the sh999runs down hill same as usual.

If you know it's wrong, then you should get a ticket, or whoever is breaking the law. Pay up, move on. I have no sympathy for those people. Good Job Mr. Police man.

The view for the turn onto Rte 66 lets you have a view of the entire road before you make the turn, and if its empty, most people, including the 'perfect' drivers on this board, will not come to a dead stop. Next time I'll keep the warning to myself and let Flag make some more dough.
