can't comment on lunch, but how about the spectacularly situated https://www.chapeloftheholycross.com/store/ and the much-photographed Red Rock Crossing, Sedona Arizona

The Coffee Pot Restaurant in Sedona is really good. Especially if you like Omelets They are open for Breakfast and Lunch. Reasonably priced as well.

That would not be my choice, locals don't eat there much however you might like it.

I'd prefer to go to somewhere like Heartline Cafe, Ken's Creekside, Chocolatree (raw and vegan), or maybe Thai Palace in uptown, depending on what you like to eat.

If you give me an idea I can recommend somewhere (I've eaten at pretty much all of them.

I agree, Red Rock Crossing is a must see, I could take or leave the Chapel of the Holy Cross if you're in a hurry.

PS FYI if you do go to Coffee Pot, it closes at 2 sharp.

I would recommend the Heartline Cafe. Always very good. If you just want a sandwich then Judis is good. For burgers or ribs then the Oak Creek Brewery in Tlaquepaque is my favorite.

There is a little bakery shop located close to downtown called Memories (or something like that). They have restricted hours - I think they have some of the best sandwiches - if you are looking for an upscale sandwich spot!

Thanks, really enjoyed Oak Creek brewery and the canyon drive, got out just ahead of the storm. Thumbs up and thanks also to the Bright Lodge Angel/xanterra people, needed some help while we were there, and they really came thru. MartyD
