We fall into that age range as well. Not many people our age here but we tend to do things together.
The job market isn't good at all. I think most available jobs go to locals first(it's who you know).
If you can stand selling timeshare there are plenty of opportunities for that here.
But it's worth it.

.......The latest figures I have found on the Internet show;

......there are over 385 TimeShare units for sale (just in Sedona) ..."by the present owners.."..................

......in many cases the average "sell price" is approx 50% of what the original purchaser paid!!!!

And yet there are places like the Hyatt that have "sales-people" in their employ that attempt to entice unsuspecting visitors to purchase one of their units.

IMHO, most of these "Time-Share Sales People" are "10 levels BELOW a Used Car Salesman in Brooklyn"!........No offense intended

I don't work for such a place and I agree with you!

They just seem to be always hiring people here...

What?? No million dollar crystal on the roof? I was visiting Sedona when that place was being built. So now I know what it turned out like. It's HUGE! I'd need to call a taxi just to get to the pool from the main house. What a hike!! Still it sure would be nice to have all that money hey.

I've been vacationing in Sedona w/ my boyfriend for about 6 years now. Every time I go, I walk around just gawking at the beauty of the place. I never get tired of seeing the red rocks and the rock formations. I'd think that living there would be wonderful, but expensive. The groceries are quite a bit higher b/c they have to truck them in from farther away.

Lol, Texanne, my wife and I visit Sedona so often that I'm almost embarrassed to tell friends that we are going AGAIN! Oh well, I agree with you though, we never get sick of the red rocks either.

Also a NYer here... I cannot wait to get back to Sedona. Last time I was there I climbed to the top of Bell Rock. Moderator cut: inappropriate language

Why do people who reside in the VOC say that they live in Sedona. You don't. You live in the Village. I worked with a lady who would go on and on about how she lived in Sedona. In reality she lived behind the outlet mall in the VOC, close but not quite.

Ummm.... Because my mailing address is 'Sedona'? I also know people who live out on Red Rock Loop rd. Guess where they say they are from?
