Default Sedona Things to do??

We have family visiting us (in Phoenix) next week and we are wondering if it would be worth it to make the drive to Sedona?

We are 2 families:
DH, myself, 2 kids (10) and (8)

and our visiting family
2 adults and 3 kids (6), (4) and 6 months

What is there to do in Sedona for families with young kids? I know Pink Jeep has tours but it may be a little to rough for the baby.

Thank you for the recommendations!

I don't think the little ones are going to enjoy Sedona. Its a great place to go to see great Red Rock views, buy overpriced jewelry and art and eat at a restaurant. I've never done a Jeep Tour in the Sedona area (have my own jeep ) I imagine it wouldn't be much fun with the kids along.

Drive up to Sedona, check out the views, then drive up Oak Creek Canyon towards Flagstaff. Stop and get an Ice Cream from DQ in the canyon, then stop somewhere along the canyon and let the kids play in Oak Creek. Grasshopper point, Slide rock are fun places, but you can access the creek at several spots. Banjo Bill, halfway, Pine Flat, etc. These are all Fee areas.

Also, before or after you exit I-17. Head just a little east on Highway 179 and check out Wet Beaver Creek. A beautiful spot for everyone to take a splash. There are pictographs nearby at a place called V-V ranch. It is only a short walk to see the wall of pictographs, they are usually fenced if there is not a guide there but you can still see them perfectly through the fence. (they are 800+ year old rock art and the park service is protecting them.
