If you want a great Sedona Fall Hike try the west fork of Oak Creek Canyon, it's on 89A north of town. Beautiful spot.

Sedona in the fall is very nice. The changing of the leaves may not be quite as spectacular as New England but it is still beautiful.

As for the weather, yesterday it was windy, mostly clear, with a high around 68 degrees. Today it is expected to be sunny with a high of 61. It's supposed to go down to 38 degrees overnight. This is predicted to last a couple of days and then go back up into the mid 70's during the daytime for the next several days. Prior to this, the last several weeks have seen low to mid 80 degree days.

By November the daytime temperatures will range from the mid 60's to upper 50's with it dropping into the 40's and 30's at night. January is when the temperatures tend not to go much beyond the low 50's and the nights will get close to freezing or below. I do recall that in both January and February there were some nights that dipped into the low 20's. And yes, you will see the occasional dusting of snow.

Is this the kind of information you were looking for?

Sedona is my favorite place. In fact we are going camping there at the end of the month. Google some information on the vortexes. They are very interesting. Its interesting to see the vegitation there, only growing so high, and in a certian direction.
You can camp up in bell rock, for that torrain, or you can camp over in oak creek canyon, by the river. AS for buying thee, the homes are very expensive, but there is another town close by, forgot the name of it rite now.

Question Sedona Temps

Guess everyone uses their fireplaces quite a bit to keep warm? Silly question(or not?)...where does everyone get their firewood in and around Sedona?

The majority of those complaining about Arizona are those that live outta state or those that moved out cuz they couldn't adjust to life here.

Sedona is one beautiful prime area, along with Oak Creek all the way up to the Grand Canyon.
