I'm in the early process of planning a vacation, thinking of Sedona, since I used to live there when I was a kid, before it turned new age and touristy. What is the best time of the year to bring a family to visit there, before the crowds come. Or after the crowds go.

I like April and October for weather...it will be quieter after the holidays (in Jan. but not so nice weather wise). I'd probably come in summer it'll be hot so not wuite as many tourists here.
