Default Flagstaff Problems

Stay out of Arizona Lane - your kind are not wanted nor needed.
They voted for change. They want big box stores and affordable housing.

As for problems that need fixing --- oh my -- that's a big subject. Have you ever traveled from Florence Junction to Flagstaff and seen the gap between the rich and the poor - there is NO middle class ! The unemployment as reported by the BLS is 8%, even higher if you count the spouses of students and others who are non-residents for whatever reason.

Socially, the town doesn't have any protections for gays as the City Council refused to pass a gay rights ordinance.

They will vote for change next time, and I'm sure the more economically Libertarian Haughey (who spoke at the Tea Parties) will win for mayor 70% to 30% for the incumbent Presler.

I care about the place and wish I could help but too many locals like you prevent outsiders with knowledge of Economics from helping out.

So what if there is no middle class between florence junction and Flagstaff? And to answer your question - I have made that trek more often than you can even imagine. Have YOU ever done it on Horseback?

And there is no need for "protections" for Gays in Flagstaff. There are enough laws on the books now - no need for more laws

And we will continue to keep your ilk out - count on it

No you won't, they're moving into Arizona in DROVES to attend NAU, UoA, and ASU. You'll have to close your colleges down to keep the liberals out HA HA HA HA HA <grin>

As for gays, they NEED protections because of people like YOU who would never hire them. GLBT individuals are just as productive in the workplace as straight persons. It is time to get over fear against GLBT persons. Most people who vote AGAINST gay protection ordinances and FOR marriage bans are closet cases themselves, anyways. 10% or more of the population is GLBT, I think, maybe a GLBT person can enlighten this discussion.

Well - let me "destroy" your statement / allegation above.

I have a rather large company / firm that I own - My General Manager is Gay. My comptroller is Lesbian. And more.

I, and millions of other business owners don't give a hoot about ones sexual orientation - I, and millions of other business owners only care about the quality of work - the knowledge of the person being considered for the job.

People like you are desperate to make issues when there is nothing to make issues about. People like you are very insecure and try to blame society for your troubles - when its really your inability to take responsibility for YOURSELF.

Society owes you NOTHING.

Deal with it.
