Sunshine is a good thing !!!
Someone told me once the sun shines brighter in Florida.... oh yea another advantage.

No, Floridabound, people who don't have it really can't imagine how the darkness and gloom seem so overwhelming. It's awful, and even the summers up there weren't much relief. But the autumn, winter and even spring - the days were shorter, I felt like hybernating, just a miserable feeling.
The sun really IS different here - very intense, it's just wonderful. Went up north for a quick visit and couldn't wait to get back here. No seasons for me, thank you (or hills either!)

Thank you! I was hoping it was an advantage like Sunrico wants in his thread.
Here is get's dark allot before I even get home from work. It is miserable.
My brother in law lives in Miramar, Fla and he won't even visit here, he tells his parents and family, if you want to see me come to Florida, I am no longer coming to Ohio and feeling depressed.
I emailed him and asked him what he thinks an advantage is, hoping he lets me know so I will post it.
My daughter asked me to add of course------ dolphins in the water !

North Central Florida
Interesting article.... North Central Florida is a region ripe for discovery, especially if you're eager to experience a Florida as authentic as prickly pear jelly. Imagine a day bracketed by pancakes bubbling on a griddle and barbecue that hits its mark better than a Hank Williams tune. In between are trails through diverse landscapes, a riot of kitsch and a river crossing like no other.

Darn you Melissa, you spoiled my thought with this, I was going to put the freezing rain photo from last winter on here, you beat me to it. Oh well.... a definite advantage beyond comparison I think.
Oceandreams, would you stay for just one more winter, your going to miss the white stuff. Come on......
