If you like pure white sand and emerald green water you are going to love it.
The hysteria over the oil spill might even lower the prices of some houses..

Most beaches do not allow dogs in the panama city/panama city beach. There is one small dog beach that isn't very convenient for most to visit. So it isn't a great place for your pooch.

As for you and your husband....if you don't mind corrupt county and local government officials, law enforcement and judges then this could be a place for you.

If you don't mind viewing rusty old trashy trailers everytime you drive about anywhere, then this Panama City/Panama City Beach may be for you..

Moving there was the biggest mistake that I ever made and the happiest day of my life was the day that I left.

Thank God for job transfers!!

Daisy. I'm curious what part of town you were in. Would things have been different if you lived in a different part of town?

Panama city is country on some areas with 1 house then all woods. There is the downtown which is nice but i wouldn't recommend it.

Ganging up on Daisy because she told the truth?

I lived in Panama City, Lynn Haven, Springfield, Parker and back to Lynn Haven and then Panama City Beach in the almost twenty years I lived there and in the words of a friend, it is a cesspool.

My parents still live there and my children were born there, however I would not want to live there again. Trashy tourist town. Go to Destin!
