driving through Riviera Beach this march with my wife and four kids a crack wh#re ran along side our suburban for a while and tried to grab a hold of the passenger side front door. After we escaped that we were driving somewhat slowly looking for the street we needed to turn on to get off the A1 and a drug dealer tried to 'wave us in'...so Riviera Beach gets my vote...

That was your first mistake, lol.

Usually NO reason to go to Riviera Beach unless you're trying to get to Singer Island!

Default scary beach blvd.

i found that out the hard way lol... i like to explore and with navigation i am usually ok...unfortunately for us our hotel was just built and wasn't in our nav database. (the street was new) It was in west palm beach...I hit the onstar button and asked them to get me to my hotel lol..thank God! my wife was a little pissed at me needless to say...the bright side is we were able to scratch off Riviera Beach off our list of possible relocations!

Floridas hit parade on scary crime infested horror areas are abundant, and growing as we speak. Look, every state has its seedy and degrading areas----that being said Floridas infestation is growing at an alarming rate.

We live in South Florida so I will concentrate on my experiences with some of our infamous war torn areas.
1. Miamis cesspool areas of Opa locka, Liberty city, and Carol City
2. Homestead
3. areas of Pompano Beach
4. large area of Deerfield Beach
5. Hallandale and Miramar
6. Rivera Beach
7. FT. Pierce
8. many areas of West Palm Beach
9. areas of Boynton Beach and Delray Beach

There are many more less than desireable areas to avoid like the plague. Crime is becoming prevalent and pervasive in many areas of our country. That being said the crime rate is going to be larger in warmer and more tropical areas due to many reasons. I am not going to indict Florida, but to ignore the fact that crime is an extremely critical problem in Florida would be foolish.

There are good aspects to living in Florida---but crime is a dangerous aspect to life down here. Exercise caution and use common sense------be vigilant and you should be okay.

Tampa area near Martin Luther King highway is the scariest place in Fl. Also S. Orange Blossom Trail is not an area to ride thru with your windows down. Live here and really hate almost all of Fl.

Considering MLK runs from Plant City all the way to the airport and OBT runs from Davenport all the way to Kissimmee, I don't really get the area you're talking about..
