This is the week they vote.
Your call to your Senators is crucial! We need 10 to 14 more "no" votes from Senators to help save you, your family and America! Get off your best intentions and call your senators today, Mon., Tues. They are working overtime to push this through.
When you call be passionate but courteous to the aides who answer the phones. Remind them that this affects their families too. Log onto numbersusa.com for talking points...which are fact and honest.
We will remember in November!

As the Husband of an immigrant Wife (colombia) i can tell you her and I did it by the law. She had to go back for six months and reapply for a Visa. Most people never go back on the first Visa breaking the law. If this new law goes into affect it will only reward law breakers.I wonder what this tells our border and homeland security agents sworn to uphold the law?

The count is more than 12 million...
And when they are allowed to bring their entire family...yes, uncles, aunts, ma's, pa's, cousins, children and all, the number will rise above 25 million and we won't be able to turn around. Think water restrictions are bad now? We ain't seen nuthin' yet!
Call your senators to help stop this mess. Incident., this is not geared against any one ethnic group. It is geared against over-population...which we are. I speak from experience and it ain't fun. Call your senators. Your family thanks you!

Then in spite of everything else you would have a harder time finding a JOB with that college education than someone who were "black!"

Are you saying there is job discrimination against native americans? I never heard that but I will take your word for it but can't really see why there would be.

Take it from someone with a college education and has been passed over so many times by non white skinned people and they keep coming back to me to do the job, not one has been able to do the job, well, there was one that was able was a laze ass who wanted pay for no work, showed up late almost daily, wanted to go home early, didnt get along with anyone and then came back on the company when they finally fired is lazy butt that he was discriminated against... oh yea, we all lined up for the hearing on that one, and we won.
Get real.............
Your an immigrant yourself but do not know it, only difference is you blame others for your failures in life instead of taking advantages of all the freebies you are offered that I never had handed to me.

The problem with immigration today,...illegal or otherwise is, this is NOT the 19th Century anymore. We are no longer a fledgling young country seeking to build its infrastructure and identity. Sure, through a couple centuries of immigration, we have successfully built this country into the most industrialized nation on this planet. However, we cannot continue to take in the whole world. We are already at 300 million population (that we know of). It has been projected that within the next 25 years, the population of this country will exceed 400 million. Do any of you commute to work in a major city? Can our highways tolerate another 33% increase in traffic? Where are we going to acquire the resources (water, energy, healthcare, teachers, schools, prisons, etc.) to support these people? It's not our fault that the rest of the world is a freakin' scumhole. We just cannot continue to take in the whole world. Their problems are fast becoming our problems. Enough is enough, close the borders now!
