Hopefully someone else will give you an answer. We also plan on renting in the Ocala area. I did an internet search and it didn't give me the info or prices, but an agent called and gave me a quote. I thought it was quite expensive for just personal property. It appears that a few apartment owners have a sort of insurance plan with them. We were looking at apartments by a company called "Equity". They have apartments all over Fla. plus many other states. I did call for info about it, but forgot to ask about the renter's insurance program that is listed on their site. Does anyone have any answers?

Call up several insurance companies and get price quotes. Have a list of what you want insured so you don't waste time
