niceville
I live here in Niceville. Home rentals begin at around 1000.00/mo
great community! As far as jobs go, would make more money by working in Destin, or Ft Walton Beach which are just a stone's throw from here. I work in Miramar Bch- 30 min. by car.

I grew up in Niceville (1975-1997) and visited a year ago ... it's a great place and I'm proud to tell people I am from Niceville. The place has "grown up" and I would move back in a heartbeat. The schools are among the best in the state. I attended Valparaiso Elementary, Ruckel Junior High (now Middle School) and Niceville High. There is also Edge, Plew and Bluewater elementaries and Lewis Middle School. There is also Rocky Bayou Christian School, as well. Valparaiso is right next door and oozes small-town charm ... if you can deal with the Air Force jets ocassionally flying overhead.

Hey it looks great to me, I was slightly charged up when I saw the Mullet Festival...but then I realized they meant a fish not the hairdo.

I'm not familiar with Niceville. but mold is an issue everywhere in Florida (moreso the farther south you go). A lot of transplnts who never had allergies before moving here develop them after a couple of years (including me).
