Default School funding

How come with all this money earmarked for schools it is still the biggest part of our tax bill? Wasn't the lottery supposed to go to schools? So where is all the money and why are we still paying through the nose?

Because they said the money from the lottery was going for the schools, what they didn't tell you it was replacing other funding not adding to it.

The schools have way more money than they need. Our government thinks throwing money at them will make the grades go up, but there is only so much money can do. Also, the lottery pays for Bright Future's Scholarships so not all of that money goes to schools.
