We're thinking of retiring to Florida in a year or two. Husband would like the safety,(or illusion of safety) of a gated community. We can't pay hundreds of dollars a month for that though. Also we have a large dog, so we would need to have a fence.

We'd like to either be close to Disney, or on the east coast.

We'd prefer to buy a house for $200,000 or less.

Do cheap HOA's exist that allow large dogs?

Sure, there are plenty of them. You'd be better off really focusing in where exactly you want to live, then contacting a local real estate agent.
