Hello all

I’ll be moving in the near future and I’m doing some research about moving (costs, different services) and since I’ve seen several people who have moved from CA I wanted to get some input on this.

I’m not sure what the best way of handling this is
1. Pros and cons of renting a truck against using a moving service?
2. How much time does this usually takes, because some companies have said to me that the transit time is about a week, is this true?
3. Any other comments or suggestions?

It cost us $10,000 for the movers to pack and load three years ago from Ca to Fl.It did take them only 6 days to go cross country while it took us 5 days so it worked out great. we also mpved a car y another co and that cost us about $1,500.
