Can anyone tell me about the history of Goulds? I'm particularly interested in a fellow named L.L. Chandler, who owned Goulds Farm in the 1940s. Does anyone remember the farm? Does anyone remember the man? I'm writing a book on guestworkers in the U.S. (which focuses on guestworkers from the Caribbean) and Chandler was instrumental in arranging for their importation. He's one of the people that set the current guestworker program going. Unfortunately, I can't find much about Chandler himself or Goulds for that matter. I gather it's now a burb of Miami. Help?
