I just moved to palm coast with my family. I'm 20 and I haven't made one friend yet. I go to daytona state college and the campus is **** and most people in my classes are much older. I moved here from the midwest and there was much more to do. It sucks living here...there aren't many opportunities to make friends. Where I'd from in OK we had clubs and special event nights where there would be plenty of people my age but in PC there is nothing like that. What do young people do for fun?

Go to Daytona or St Augustine.

Why anyone moves to Palm Coast is beyond me.

Ditto.

But since you're there with your family....The DSC campus in Daytona has a much larger matriculation than PC. Sign up for some classes there!

You say that you "just" moved here, so I think you need to be a little more patient in making friends. I love it here, but I'm not a 20 years old college student. I can see how you would be bored if your only interest is clubbing. Not much of that going on here. Do you have any other interests? Any sports or outdoor activities?

Because Palm Coast is a fairly new and BEAUTIFUL city. Its laid back and some of the most prettyiest homes youve ever seen.

We are interested in PC but trying to find a house to rent that is not in forclosure might be a real task.

See the opinion of a proud New Yorker.

I'm glad Palm Coast fits your taste. Apparently Palm Coast has whatever it is New Yorkers want, cus they are there in droves. Me, personally? I'll pass.

We are from New York, Queens, and Brooklyn Heights, lived in Palm Coast for 20 years, will not move anywhere, but...
...of course we're not in our 20's, they have different needs and wants, they want action, which can mostly be found in big cities...you know, the ones filled with cloudy skies, crime and grime!!!
I don't blame them if that's what they want, but please don't begrudge our city for your personal needs. We have a lot of sport facilities, nature parks and paths to enjoy, and community activities you can participate in with people your age, but sorry, no clubs or joints, the kind you possibly are looking for.
