38F when I got up this morning, which is way too chilly for early November. I do have to say we're noticing the benefits of the low-e windows- two nights in the 30s now, and haven't had to turn on the heat yet.

We were in the 50s, but still too cold for me. I covered the orchids for the 2nd night, but I think tonight they're inside. They're looking alittle stressed and with them just starting to bloom, I really don't want to risk a "dropoff".

It was funny seeing people bundled up with jackets and gloves when it was 60 degrees outside. Back in the 80's by tuesday at least through friday.

The weather this weekend was perfect. If only it was like this all the time.

That would kind of take away one of the draws for many to live in Florida.
A low of 35 and a high of 66 would not be something that enticed me to move.
I am sure there are already places that have similar weather.

I was in NY last month and people were wearing coats too. It was 50-60s same temperatures as central Florida. I think it's wise to do so to avoid a pneumonia.

People shoulnt take these temperature changes lightly and cover themselves as soon as it gets a little cold. But people here in Florida seem to be really stubborn. You don't see that Kind of attitude up north or on the West coast where temperatures drop significantly at night.

I'm not, and I'm sure that the local produce farmers aren't, either, especially with the way the economy is right now. I don't think some of them would be able to take another hit like that and stay afloat.

That last winter was brutal. With temperatures like the ones we had, I'm surprised I didn't see snow falling in my neighborhood. My temperature threshold is 50 degrees; any lower than that, and it's too cold for me (yeah, I'm a cold wimp LOL. Florida does that to you). Having lived in a chilly part of Northern Utah for the first nineteen years of my life, I think I'm about done with Jack Frost.
