I found this site and it has some attack history. Made me think a little. But it is a little out there.

Wake up America! Before it's too late!

Thats a strange site. True on some facts. The cells in Florida make me a little uneasy.

it's mostly true, but it is unfair to judge events from 25 years and how they played out with the benefit of 20/20 hindsight.
they made the choices they made with the knowledge they had at that time, and those choices were right for that time, trying to interject what we know today into those choices just isn't fair and judging the outcome by todays measures isn't right.

a few years ago, my History teacher asked me why am I learning History?
I simply replied, because we need to know who we are, where we came from, and learn about the rest of the world. The teacher looked at me with a smile, and said: "and, so we don't repeat mistakes made by others in the past."

Thats the truth, mistakes made by others in the past is the best way to learn. I remember the phrase if you have spoiled milk and you put it back in the refridgerator you may foget its spoiled till you take a drink.

Question Terror Fighting Funds Cut For Orlando

Looks like the southwest is hotter than Orlando... Houston?

Orlando is expecting a big cut in money to fight terrorism. On Wednesday, the Department of Homeland Security will announced federal anti-terror grants.
According to an early report, Orlando is set to lose more than $3 million of the $9 million it received last year.

The money is used to train, equip, and better protect police, fire, and emergency personnel. Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said cities should not compare one year's award to the next, because aid goes where the need is greatest to make the entire country safer.

Miami will lose a quarter of the $16 million it received in 2006.
On the winning side, Phoenix more than tripled its take, rising to nearly $12 million and Houston saw a 50 percent increase to $25 million.

That story is totally false. Read about it at Snopes. Even Colonel North wrote a response that disproved it.

That one is false, also. Here is the Snopes report.

You really should stop believing all the email junk that gets circulated. Life is hard enough without worrying about things that aren't true.
