New ALL opinions FAST!
My husband has a choice of tranferring to two post offices.... Plant City or Mount Dora
Which would you choose and why? We can't make up our minds! We were in Leesburg in Feb and loved it. Plant City called first, and are 1/2 hour away from my in-laws. Mt. Dora would be about an hour.

Without a doubt Mt Dora.
Then again you have to look at what you like, if you want to be close to great beaches, then Plant City, if you want a beautifiul charmer city, its Mt Dora all the way.
Personally I do not like Plant City, there are allot of better towns around Plant City for you to live and them drive to work, but personally I wouldnt live in Plant City.
Mt Dora is an awesome town, but too far away from all the things we like.. like gulf beaces like Anna Maria etc.
Most people in Mt Dora that go to the beach go to Daytona area beaches.
Your lucky either place, I would suggest the town that best fits your personal preferences.

Agreed.... Mt Dora. You can drive to the beach if you want. It's not far. It's a peaceful little town for the most part with some old style charm and a fun downtown with a couple of REALLY cool craft fairs every year....

Gotta agree - MT. DORA! Personally I don't think much of Plant City at all - I would never live there, myself.

Lived in Orlando for awhile which isn't far from either. I think Plant City would have to be considered more "folksy" and Mt Dora more "culture" So it really does depend on what you're comfortable with.

Mt Dora is one of the most desirable places to live in Florida.

Mt. Dora.
Mt. Dora is rural and quaint and cute. Plant City is just redneck.
