Smoking in bars doesn't bother me, and I've never smoked a cigarette in my life (at least not a legal one).

Being around secondhand smoke for a few hours every few weeks isn't going to hurt anyone.

Statistics and health studies show that you are wrong.

Secondhand Smoke Exposure Can Cause Cell Damage In 30 Minutes that is an old study

this study came out this month:
Tobacco smoke causes immediate damage: U.S. report - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20101209/us_nm/us_tobacco_usa_5 - broken link)

Here are the health consequences of involuntary exposure:

Exactly! Is there a list someplace?

And how weird is it that the 75% majority can't find a place free of the 25% minority's bad habit?

Restaurant bars tend to be smoke-free since more their revenue comes from food than booze. Places that come to the tops of my head:

Buffalo Wild Wings
Wing House
Hooters
Chilis
TGIF
Beef O Brady's
Cody's Roadhouse

Now thse are just bars. Now when looking for a smoke free club... yes... that is going to be more difficult. Don't worry, I'm sure they'll outlaw smoking from bars and clubs soon enough.

Because many in the majority are like me, unless it's in my home or my car I don't care.

Id prefer a real bar not a restaurant bar I wouldnt want my friends to destroy someones dinner because they are getting loud because of drinking..

Which is sad considering the second-hand smoke data that's been widely publicized for the past 20+ years. Does anyone read anymore?

I know restaurants that have bars don't allow smoking but I was looking more for actual bars and clubs. I guess I can only hope that smoking will be banned from all indoor establishments soon....
