Default How Are The Apartment Complexes In Sebring, Florida?

We are thinking of moving to Florida next year and was contemplating either Daytona Beach or Sebring. His mother used to live in Sebring and he lived there for 5 years himself. He loved it, but things have changed some there since he lived there 20 years ago.

Can you tell me about the apartment complexes there? What are the rates generally range at? Thanks...

I would think twice about Sebring unless you both enjoy sitting around without much to do. The town is pretty isolated, IMO doesn't feel as much Florida as it does South Georgia, and going anywhere is quite a drive. I would much more recommend the Daytona Beach area, specifically Ormond Beach. It's on the coast and is a smaller town yet near many amenities/services. One bedroom apartments average around $600-$700 per month.

Yeah, I loved Daytona Beach, Ormond, and Flagler better than anywhere there I've been to. I think I'll tell him we'll move to Daytona Beach instead. Thanks.

Sebring blows. Sure the town is nice and they have the Sebring Int'l Raceway. Other than that, it's mainly retirees, rednecks, evangelical bible beaters, ect. The economy is **** and jobs are hard to come by. There is also nothing to do in Sebring!

Clewiston sucks even more than Sebring. Just because I live here does not mean I like it. I am planning to move when I work everything out. BTW, It is my RIGHT to say whatever I want about a place. People trash where I'm from and I could care less.

So where is it that I said you should shut your mouth and not talk that you feel compelled to tell me that you have a RIGHT to say what you want. I simply said if you constantly talk bad about the area then move.

Ok, I get you. I misread your post. Now just to add, nowhere did I support my current city of Clewiston.

I just found it funny that you tell people not to move to the area no matter what but that you live there. Just seems kind of contradictory. Granted I do not know your circumstances for still being in the area but it seems you would have said something in all of the other posts about how you are trying to get out and this is why someone should not come to the area.

I'm trying to be patient, but I have no idea why this is bothering you. It is none of your concern why I am still in this area. I state my opinions on certain areas and they are my opinions only. For example, I want to move to the Ft. Lauderdale Area. I see the area as a great place, plenty of stuff to do, excellent scenery, ect. However some people will say its awful, crowded, bad traffic, crime, ect. I do not post every detail of my lift i.e. where I plan to move, ect.
