There are SO many things wrong with that story. Starting with.... a 6 year old going to the store for his grandmother.

Eh - well, a few details are left out. I read it in another local paper, this happened in "da 'hood", and those guys knew that kid, it wasn't as random as they make it sound.

Sadly stuff like this happens all the time, good thing it wasn't worse than it was.

Absolutely. Above and beyond all else, that is what I saw as the biggest crime in this story.

A 6 year old cannot defend himself, as this story depicts perfectly - 'they hit him and he ran home crying' - of course he did! He's only 6!

The family of that little boy are lucky that this is all that happened to him, the story could be far worse .
