Congratulations, Kelly! I hope we will be as lucky! We close on our home in Lakeland that we contracted for recently, and will be moved in by the end of August. That is when I will be listing our present home (also 2/1) here in the country.

You must be thrilled!

Any ideas on why would be interesting to me.
Can you tell I'm in love w/ it???

My guess would be lots of organic matter over the years that decayed and has given you lots of good soil.

What a great bonus for you! Congrats on your sale.

Things are that bad in FL that people are actually getting excited about a home sale? (scratches head)

Woohoo! I was able to buy gas today!

But seriously, mowing two lawns does suck....so congrats on that!

Doesn't everyone get excited when they sell stuff? Now I'm scratching my head...I guess the littlest things amuse me, I was happy when we sold a computer desk, it doesn't take much!

Two properties is a pain. It's not even the money, it's just maintaining two properties gets old ...especially during rainy season.

Congrats Kelly! Our house in Orlando, listed last month, sold in a week and closed recently. We were pleasantly surprised because we thought we might be carrying two houses for a long time. We priced aggressively and didn't have to come down much. Several similar properties in our area have been on the market for over a year--we sure weren't looking forward to that prospect. I'll give prayer a lot of credit too! :-)

Congratulations, Kelly! I've been following you through this process and I'm so glad it all worked out for you so beautifully. I hope everyone else with property for sale can sell this summer also.
