We Are Sold~! (Tampa, Lutz: landscaping, job, house)

I would just like to say ...our home is sold in under 4 months ...which is standard for a normal market(in my eyes).

We didn't get our asking price BUT we didn't plan on it ....everyone needs bargaining room ya know. We got the exact price we thought we would and we are thrilled!!! We close mid-August and I AM THRILLED because I'm tired of mowing two lawns!!!

We prayed daily that it would sell soon and had family praying too and left it alone. We of course maintain the property, moved the animals and ourslves out, but left furniture like couches and beds there(so they could imagine their furniture in the house).

It's a 2/1 whcih isn't a easy sell in any market SO I believe it's all about prayer.

We did reduce the price a little, but only to circulate traffic. We had a figure in mind in the beginning and left enough room to reduce when we felt neccessary. So yes, we reduced price ...but we planned on it ....it's all part of my master plan BUU HAAA HHAAA!

We moved to Lutz. It's a 3/2, 15something sq feet and is so unique. No one can build infront of behind EVER(which is hard to fnd in the Tampa area), it's a quiet older area, closer to my family, has a fun layout and is big enough to start a family in but small enough to just live in w/ my husband. It's muy Perfecto! ...my husbands drive to work is longer in miles BUT because he's not going through Tampa it's about 10 minutes shorter.
It has a BIG back yard for the pup and a big screened porch for my orchids and cat.

The plants are already established so no landscaping for me =( but I have orchids so I'll be quiet. I have noticed(ok I did plant two rose bushes in the backyard) the soil is actually BLACK BEAUTIFUL DIRT (DIRT IN FLORIDA???) at our old house it was sand. Any ideas on why would be interesting to me.
Can you tell I'm in love w/ it???
