Wish me luck, all. I'm heading to N. Ft. Myers on Saturday, taking the auto train and arriving on Monday.

Can't wait to get into the house and start making it our own.

Take care and I'll see you all when I manage to get back online.

THanks, everybody. I'll try not to use up all the sunshine, SD. LOL

I'll be back online once I manage to get the 'puter hooked up and after I drag my sorry, white northern butt out of the pool!

Good luck, I've been here a month and its getting old already. The people are great and the towns are clean but if your looking for work good luck. There seems to be a good amount of people out of work right now. The housing crunch is hitting the average Joe pretty hard. If your retiring than you love it. A lot to do.

Travel safely and enjoy the new adventure. We hope to be moving down to NE FLA within the next couple years too.

If you'd told me I would ever consider being a Floridian, I would have said "you're crazy!" But, we've reconsidered and found some great spots to choose from and we'll only be 5hrs away from our grandkids, not 14hrs. Good Luck & God Bless ~

Please dont ruin a good thing for these people, they are excited to move there and wanted to share it with us and don't need the negatives and dont need jobs either!

Go to NY were NMS is from, no jobs there either !!
Housing crunch is everywhere, not just Florida..

NMS did allot of research before they made the plans to move, the people who moved there with no plans and cannot find a job, it is there own fault.

NMS.... Have a great trip down and go ahead with the sunshine, there is plenty of it to go around.

Pool... did you say pool, you mean you have a pool too...

We are coming down in August for some beach time.
