that might be the place! Median family income in Bell is around 30,000 and the home is 80,000 - that's the winner!

Hard to believe but few people South of Gainesville even know there is a Northwest Florida. Take a line from Jacksonville, to Tallahassee to Pensacola along Hwy 90. Skip the larger cities and look at the smaller towns. Marianna, Chipley, Graceville, Bonifay, CRESTVIEW, Baker, Milton, Pace and look at towns 10 miles N and S of Hwy 90. These prices peaked like all others a couple of years ago, but even then they were low compared to S.Fla. Booming growth and still small town flavor.. Chipley, Milton, Cantonement.

I know this sounds crazy but, I know of condos for sale in Palm Beach
County, FL for as little as $50,000. I lost my husband and ours is for sale.
The complex it is in is absolutely beautiful, believe it or not !!! There are
850 units in the complex, 2 olympic pools, free movies once a week and live
stage shows monthly !!!! And, this complex is 2 miles from the intracoastal.
Some of the condos for sale are as low as $35,000. Again, I know it sounds
like they are dumps but, quite the contrary. There are some sneakers out
there !!!!

There are some relatively nice older, affordable communities in North Fort Myers toward the Charlotte county border. They're generally mobile home/manufactured home communities. You could check Del Tura Country Club or Tara Woods, zip code 33917.

Kissimmee has many homes for under 150k presently, 3/2's over 1500 sq ft going down to $110k. some fairly new. There are some really good deals here. The problem with mobile homes, the land is worth more than the home and it declines in value while regular homes generally appreciate.

Not anymore. Astounding the price drops in many areas especially the southern half of the state since August.

There are many homes available in the Cape Coral area for under $100,000. 3 bedroom 2 bath homes. Dispite what you'll read on this site from many people it's a pretty nice safe place to live. Particularly for those prices.
Good luck.
