OK, I have a question, At about 11:30 today, July 20, I was driving east on State Road 80 AKA southern Boulevard, when a bunch of Palm Beach County Sheriif's Office cops went by in the other direction. There was 4 or 5 of them at first, westbound, fast. Then there was some more, then there was a couple in the median. And they ALL had their roof lights on. So, I'm thinking wierd. I mean there were cops everywhere. Then it really got wierd. I don't know the area, but I think I was approximately at Royal Palm Beach Blvd, maybe SR-7, but I was not yet at the turnpike. An old red POS chevy passed me going at least 70 UP THE WRONG WAY!!!! He was going eastbound in the westbound side of the road!!! and he had about 17 cops in pursuit. Then a bunch more cops, maybe 9, passed me on the correct side of the road. Caprices, Crown Vics, F-250s, Expeditions, it was like they threw every cop car available at this 20 year old chevy lumina. And then there were more going back westbound like he turned left after he passed me (He sure didn't turn right, that would have caused a mess in my lane of traffic. But no local cops, No Boynton Beach, or City of WPB cops (or wherever the heck I was.) From what I could tell it was all county sheriffs. By the time I got to the turnpike I probably saw the whole PBCSO (or at least 40 cars.) going in one direction or the other up SR 80. There I stopped at a redlight and noticed a bird in the air. I think it was the cops as well. Same color as the cars, but I couldn't tell for sure, coulda been traffic reporter for all I know. very wierd!
