Default right to appeal a vol. quit? UC Claim

what right or ways do employee's having fighting a denied UC claim for a vol. quit because for uneethical unfair expectations from employer?

i was hired as a cust serv rep, and one day i refused to do a particular job because it wasnt under my job description or compensation. employer quoted "you have to do anything this co. asks of you", i said "thats going to be a problem", he said "if thats how you feel, then pack your bags and go". and i did.

any help/advice please? no money for an attorney

Florida is a right to work state which means you can get fired at any time regardless. You can try to fight this, but I don't know if you would win. You can call an attorney, most don't charge for the initial consultation. Make sure you call one that specializes in this area. Since you don't have money for an attorney, you will be out of luck - one way or another.

Did you belong to a union? Also you said it wasn't part of your compensation -- I don quite follow this. Please explain.
