Putnam County / Palatka area
I will be relocating to Palatka -Putnama County- next month.
I am looking for 1 bed apt. around $700/month + utilities. Either in Palatka or within a radius of 12 miles from Palatka. any suggestions?
Any tips will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

If you're into the country life, peace and quiet, about 7-8 miles east of Palatka we have a 3/2 remodeled doublewide for rent for almost the same as an apt. If you're interested just pm me.

It's known, but it's quite small and quiet. There might be apartment buildings there (I've never noticed any), but it's mostly small homes and trailers, so you'd likely be renting from an individual. Maybe Craigslist? If you don't see any ads for a rental there, you might want to post your own.
You might want to consider renting in St. Augustine (plenty of rentals) and doing the commute (shouldn't be too bad...30 mins or so?). This is what I would do if I were working in Palatka.
Hope that helps .

Palatka is a sleepy little town on the St. John's River. I'm quite sure there are pleanty of rental properties right in Palatka - it's not that small. If it were me, I'd take a day out, go up there and just find a place - there's really no substitute for that.
