One thing that is good here is that if it is raining wait and it will be gone in 45 minutes, and you can still have a perfect day.

So true since early this am radar showed big yellow and orange masses coming our way but nothing happened not a drop of rain and the next time I looked it was on the east coast.go figure

Actually, in our area it's been raining every day, either at 2pm or @4pm. You can almost set your watch to it. Kind of a bummer, and really, really nasty storms that almost always knock out the power. We lost power due to a blown transformer this past Saturday. A funnel cloud touched down yesterday about a mile from our home. I was rushing back from the store thinking, Hmm, that looks like a strange sky, I wonder if I will see a tornado.

I didn't see any funnel cloud, but you really couldn't see anything at all, with the rain bands and all. I've been waiting my whole life to see a tornado (from a DISTANCE!)...Maybe I'll see one when we move to NC!

rains everyday at 4pm usually, but the rain seems tp be playing catch-up, since the drought.
It rained ten inches in my area last week. woowoo!

I wonder how many inches below normal we are. Anyone know?
