Default What is the best small beach town in Florida.

It needs to be on more than an 60 to 70 miles from a larger metro area.

Did you mean no more than 60 miles?
If so then Pass A Grille, actually only a short drive from St. Petersburg, but the atomosphere is much more remote and secluded

I would have to agree, Destin
If you want warmer weather try naples or cape coral.West coast south just across from broward and dade county. Close to the cities about 60 mins away but beautiful, warm gulf water, enjoy watching the dolphins enter the gulf from the back bays in the AM and return in the PM and amazing sunsets!
