I chose a discount agent. If they sold the house to someone that they showed it to my comission would have only been one and a half percent. They were horrible about returning phone calls, and I found out about a delay in the closing from the buyers. When I left a message for my agent the night before closing was supposed to happen it took 7 hours to get return call. The buyers agent said they were horrible to work with, and would only deal with them by fax. They had a full comission agent. I would not recommend using a discount agent. I ended up paying full comission, as my agent only showed the house once. They never shared any of the feedback from the other agents until after I had a contract.

Good advice. It's amazing how different agencies work.
