Going to be in Naples for a couple of days/couple of nights. Things to do?
Whats there to do as far as night life? I will be working for the most part during the day, but should have plenty of daylight to do things in the evening (will be getting off work around 5 both days. I'll be there from Sunday-Tuesday. I like to drink, live bands, etc that type of stuff. Would prefer to do these activities close to the water as to enjoy the scenery. Thanks in advance for any info.

Go to Fort Liquordale. Thats what there is to do. Good luck driving back on the alley drunk .
Seriously though, that town is asleep after 9. Naples is a chill/upscale beach vacation spot more than anything. Not much in the way of nightlife.

!$#!$# That sucks. I'll be in Boynton Beach the following 2 days after Naples, so i'll go to Lauderdale then.

Yeah, Delray Beach also has a cool downtown area that is a bit more alive at night too.Close to Boynton as well. I edited my above post too for humor .
You will have a bit more fun on the east coast though, especially if you like to drink by the beach.

Drinking by the beach is one of my favorite things to do. I have less time in Boynton than Naples, is Delray a good choice for the one night I have there, or should I go down to Liquordale as you so eloquently put it.

Well, Delray is still more upscale (although it's still alive) but Fort Lauderdale is the ultimate in getting drunk by the beach. No town can be matched for what you are looking for, with famous drinking establishments such as the Elbo Room.

Why go all the way to the east coast? Go 30 minutes North to Ft. Myers Beach. It has all the beach/tiki bars you can possibly want. More than enough to do in the amount of time you are here. Just walk the beach and you can find numerous places with live bands.

I do agree with Fort Myers Beach, except for the brown water.

Okay, from a Naples local........go to the Naples Beach Club on Sunday for live entertainment......go to their web site first to see the schedule. To get a taste of what small night life we have, go to Fifth Avenue.....or Tommy Bahama's on 3rd St. Go to explorenaples.com and click around. It lists many restaurants and bars. It's a cool town.
