Fort Lauderdale Real Estate Company, Homes for Sale in Ft Lauderdale Florida

So are you arguing then that only those with means should be allowed to move in? The demand will either be met, or only that portion of the demand that can afford to move to Ft. Lauderdale will move in and pay ever-increasing home prices.

I can guarantee you it's not "condo dwellers" eating up water resources in Florida, but people with lawns that feel the need to water the grass every day, even when raining. They did a story on the "top water users" in Palm Beach County sometime earlier this summer. Top spots were held by estates on Palm Beach Island, where homes are equipped with hose systems that spray the house and windows down to keep sea salt from corroding the home, and golf course worthy lawns and exotic plants need constant gardening. Next top users were people out in the rural horse farm areas of Wellington. The amount of water I use in my condo is limited to what I consume personally, or for a couple of house plants. No sprinklers needed!

AND I walk to the bank. Takes me 10 minutes!

I used to live on South Ocean Drive but just sold that house. I live in Croissant park now in my other house now but I still bank over on 17 st. and that is the problem. I have to fade that US 1 and 17 st. traffic. I am going to open an account at Sterling bank next week that is like 1/2 mile from the house and I can walk there.

Extreme suburban sprawl has been so disastrous for america. And now the jokes on the ones who bought the big houses in the exurbs--they can't afford the gas to do their 50 mile commutes anymore.

And just think they could have had one of those "cramped condos" and been near their job. Hindsight is 20/20.
