Default Might I like Pensacola, Florida?

Hello,

Am seeking to relocate to a beautiful part of the United States, that has great architecture and beautiful beaches and that is less expensive than where I currently live, Washington, DC. For the past 11 years, I have bought, improved and sold for profit several historic homes and I would like to do this in a warmer climate. That's one of my day jobs. Another passion is acting. From websites I have searched, it appears that Pensacola has a very good theater company.

Thank you.

I lived there for 2 years, it was not for me. The pros were great beaches, less expensive that other places.

The cons were that it is much more humid than south Florida, think Dallas-Ft Worth type humidity. It is also a divided area. You have 3 distinct groups of people. Military from the Air Force base, extreme religious people, and a poor south population on the outskirts.

But they do have the opera and theater company which sounds like what you like.

Oops, it is actually the Naval Air Station, not an Air Force Base. We lived about 3/4 mile from it.

You have NAS Pcola and Hurlburt Field/Eglin AFB in the area. Also Whiting Field in Milton. You might also find more info from PJC & UWF.
