Poinciana Crime
I moved here from Philadelphia were multiple murders per day are talked about as much as the space shuttle. 400+ murders a year in philly are not uncommon. Yes poinciana is really quiet and sometimes creepy but most of us that live here moved from places were noise, police and gun shots are the norm. Coming from a city that is almost number one country wide in drugs, theft, rape and murders this is a piece of cake.
In comparison Poinciana is much safer and less crowded than philadelphia so it was my families choice to move here and for us it was a good one. Yes things are kind of far and there really isn't much here but it sure beats the traffic jams, noisy neighbors and crowded stores. Living here is not for everyone, just like it is any where else, it's not great but it's not bad. Poinciana is a choice you came come and live here or go else where. Have a nice day!!!!!!

Sorry but the murder rate is def. not 2 a year its higher then that and there are alot more then 60,000 people here.
Crime is bad, it just depends on the type of people you know and how well you protect your things. I've never had anything stolen or anything like that and I was RAISED in Poinciana.

i don't know where to start... I didn't know that so many white americans fell so uncomfortable being with spanish people
 . I been reading alot of what you were saying and I can agree in some things. Im myself spanish from Peru I grow up in a nice and quiet neighborhood. like most of you and I don't like the noise that some people make with their cars and l loud music (particularly puertoricans) but no all spanish people are comfortable with this either. some of you stereotype by "saying puertoricans colombians mexicans cubans are rude" and that's not the case cause Im not....and by the way out of 10 puertorican families there is only one bad apple that could happened in any race. I want to move away from poinciana for this and other reasons that was mentioned in this forum.
