If I had my way homes would be selling for cash and all this financing/commission nonsense would fade away.

Yea the insurance companies and the news love these stories. Until we have a few good years and the stop running the stories because no one cares or believes them. Right now global warming is big so they will keep running.

We will get hit with another one eventually. But that is natural. They are supposed to hit us every 10 years or so. It flushes out the everglades and has other beneficial factors, I am sure. True we only see our houses getting blown down but they do have a purpose. But for the media to say every year record number VERY ACTIVE season. Come on I am sick of it. I want to move out of FL but hurricanes is not one of the reasons.

Let'em run..... less cars more space.

Default I hear ya

I also have a house for sale in North Port, not as grand as yours, but...none the less it has been on the market for 10months, we've come down $27,000. and still no bites. There are so many houses for sale....It's a buyers market they say, I say "WHERE ARE THE BUYERS HIDING"

Good Luck to anyone selling, and I am not giving away my car....

Yup, I think the market should turn around in the morning...Tuesday at the latest.

So the neighbors sold their homes for $600,000 plus and $565,000...in a "crap market". And she didn't have one person show up for an open house at $459,000.

Hmmm....that seems odd now doesn't it?

Before you say your home is worth more than $200,000...sell it for more than that. Until then, my theory is as valid as yours as to its value.
