Can any of you give me a up to date scenario on the Palm Coast area? Ideally, that is the area we would like to end up. Does anyone know what the car business is like there? I have been in sales for over 14 years. We are a family of five and are torn on weather to be closer to Jacksonville(green cove springs) or go to the coast like we want to do. Please advise. Thank you for any input!!!

These communities are very different. Palm Coast is growing by leaps and bounds and Green Cove is a quiet, laid back community, but near enough to Orange Park and Jacksonville. I would personally pick Green Cove, but that's because of my personal preferences. I would recommend you go where ever you can find a job. That may not be either place. If you have a job where you are, I'd suggest you stay put.

Green Cove Springs is a small country town. Palm Coast is sprawling suburbia loaded with transplants. The two communities are very different.

I would pick Green Cove in a heartbeat.

Green Cove is really laid back...def a Florida cracker town. I like it there, but would not wanna live there. I currently live in St Augustine, but hopefully will be moving to Palm Coast later next year when we build a home in the C section....which is on a canal.
