Here's a safe driving suggestion.

Not To Go,

Floridians are always out and about on their plentiful sidewalks. I don't know what California is like, but I am always dodging people as I run around the area.

Must be where you live in Florida.

I don't remember a lot, if any, sidewalks in swFlorida. Not any in Knoxville, TN, either. The south doesn't have a lot of sidewalks. Where I grew up in Mass., most places had them.

We have sidewalks in residential areas only for the most part. It's not like you can walk to the supermarket from your house and have sidewalks the whole way.

Florida ranks in the top four for pedestrian accidents and I know it is way up there for bicycle accidents, too. Maybe the worst.

Many Snowbirds from global big cities
Want Winter Sun
Don’t own cars

Hardly drive
But get cars with airline packages and miles
All Inclusive! Bring Family/Friends too!

Lost. GPS. Cellphone Talking. Texting. Movies. Mobile Satellite TV.
Visit Florida! Become a hideous sight to see too
If I’m a wh*re for my local CVB
Should I wear a condom?

Or has the risk already been calculated/determined
For my Autumn?
Laying spread-eagle on the Highway

Other Vultures eating me
From many cultures (including mine)
So loudly I can "ask Dave" for help

Please Stop!

Here's a link to the State of Florida CVB which includes links to all regional ones in the State. Part of their job is to create packages/promotions to visit an area:
