Governor Rick Scott puts his name on welcome signs

Good to see Mr. Fiscal Responsibility is spending Florida's money wisely, especially when no past Florida governor had their name on the welcome sign. (In fact, I can't recall Florida ever having a single change to the welcome sign dating back to when I was born).

Rick Scott is a fraud. His campaign was about "job creation." I haven't seen him pushing for legislation to help jump start the economy. His actions are causing thousands of teachers to lose their jobs. His focus and the Republican focus has been on abortion and making it harder for poor people and minorities to register to vote.

I can't wait until 2014 rolls around so voters can send him packing.

He needs to pay for that himself.

Seriously????? It "comes with the job"???? Puh-leaze!!! I'm sure the only reason no prior governor has ever had their name on the sign is to save the extra expense every 4 - 8 years. Lex Luther strikes again.

We have signs like that at every entry into the city or even individual boroughs. So what? You're beachin' about eight grand? Take a pill.

The starting salary of a Florida teacher is $33,000. Save 8 grand here, save 8 grand there and you could start saving some teaching jobs.

But hey, who needs teachers...

And he needs to pay for the next governor to remove his name as well.

No matter the cost, it does not look good for a governor who flaps incessantly about saving money to spend any amount purely for the ego boost.

Okay, so what? It's still a ridiculous, needless expense.

Rick Scott didn't pay for it-YOU paid for it.

Oh, and your homeowners insurance premiums are going to go through the roof.
