I live in northern KY currently and cannot stand the weather up here, this is the last winter I want to experience, I have visited St Augustine area many times and love it, but I think if its going to be a perm. thing, i would rather be in the Keys or similar area. I do retail merchandising for a living, and im wondering how many jobs are in this area for that industry. I know the company I work for, does do business in the keys, but not sure of the amount of work, basically we service Speedway gas stations, so, anyone know if there is many speedways in the keys? or other merchandising type companies? Thanks

Its going to be brutally expensive. and there isnt much industry other than tourism related, not sure how many gas stations are in town but unless you own one i doubt there are enough of them to make a viable business servicing them..

Great place to visit....but just alittle expensive to call home...On our last trip there we found most of the workers do not live on the island and those that do were sharing an apartment with two or three others...but still....if you can afford it...why not
