I believe I'm not alone in saying that while those photos are beautiful and I love the beach/palm trees, I wouldn't die without either.. I was talking to my mother the other day and we came to the realization that would could count on both hands the times we went to the beach when we lived in Florida and mine was counting birth until the age of 18.

We dined last night in Northern Seacoast MA overlooking an open ocean beach where children were jumping the waves and the only thing missing were the palm trees, yet earlier in the day we were in Boston Public Gardens and they had oases of tropical flora complete with palms. Summer here is beautiful, never too hot, ocean views are everywhere, and we get to look forward to the brilliance of autumn followed by the serenity of winter, and then rejuvenating spring.

Beautiful, ChrisA70. There's nothing more beautiful than a New England beach.

Wonderful. Glad you are happy to be back there.

Why did you leave it in the first place?

It happens to a lot of people. You never know until you try. I'm actually amazed at how many people i talk to that move back to New England after being in Florida a few years. There has to be a reason.

There also has to be a reason for leaving New England in the first place, but we never see that reason posted. Only the reasons for going back.
