One would think that the absolute top priority of the green movement, the one that would have the biggest impact at the lowest cost, would be outlawing the use of fertilizer and/or pesticides on lawns. More runoff pollution comes from lawn than from all of production agriculture. And it isn't like we are growing our dinner on the lawn.

It amazes me how people can go from one perspective to another.

One More Week!!!! Well, I never thought I would move back to Florida, but I sure am. I really didn't think I would miss it, but I do.

I forgot how rediculously cold it gets up here in New England. Right now it is 3 degrees with a wind chill of -15. No thanks.

Christmas was nice, it was white. Then the fun stopped with storm after storm, ICE, COLD!!! I began daydreaming about sun, grilling out, windows down in the car with the music up, sunglasses, Fort Myers beach... I realized that my dream of moving back to New England was not what I wanted. I have been, FLORIDAIZED!!! I can no longer deal with cold, snow, scraping windows, sitting in the car freezing to warm it up. I can go on and on.

Next week as of tomorrow morning I will be sitting in my Penske truck on my way back to Cape Coral, Florida, to get back into my Florida lifestyle... I'm going to the beach, digging my feet in the sand and sipping an iced tea, while I watch my daughter play on the beach. Even she was happy to go back, the fun in the snow lasted a month for her. An 8 year old saying "Dad, I want to go back to Florida it's too cold here, I don't like Snow anymore", was one of the last straws. She is right.

So here is another one coming back... TO STAY!!!!!!!!!! Save some sun for me!

I can't get over how someone can be a native Floridian and then, well, not.

Or go from male to female.

But it's the internet and a forum, no less. You take the advice, form your own opinion that you probably had all along, and take your chances.

What does Florida lack that makes everyone want to go "home"?

Justice for child killers.
