I've heard this is the worst summer for allergies.
I can't sit on my back porch this week w/o stuffing up.

I've found running hard helps(gets the blood pump'n) and hot showers help.
All over the counters aren't helping.

What does everyone use for allergies? ...We aren't usually allergy people.
any home remedies?

thanks

<- that's what my eyes look like right now.

Friends of mine swear by Apple Cider Vinegar.

Here is what one suggested: There are a couple ways you can drink apple cider vinegar. One way is to put 1/8th cup ACV in 8 oz of water and sip it throughout the day. The other method is to gulp the mixture at once. Sometimes you just have to take this dosage once to stop the allergy and sometimes you need to take it up to three times a day. If taken at the onset of symptoms, allergies will usually disappear between 1 -3 hours after taking the first dose of Apple Cider Vinegar. If you've been experiencing allergies for a day or more, your symptoms will disappear after about 24 hours. If they don't, make sure you continue to take water/vinegar mixture for several days.

Make sure you use 100% natural ACV, not store brand. You can get it at any store that sells vitaming/health products. One of the brands i use is "100% natural with mother, Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar"

ACV is good for a lot of things, reducing cholesterol, and losing weight are just couple. Combine with honey, and it's simply delicious!!

jimking & shepsmom,

thanks so much!
I've been checking the forum all day for responses to this.
I have never experienced allergies like this and it's just a horrible feeling.
It feels like a head cold w/o the ache. I've had it for about a day and a half so I'll give it time to kick in.

I just bought ACV yesterday for a recipe.

Thanks again!
I appreciate it!

Nasal Allergy Sprays help also. But, usually in conjunction with something else. The best thing you can do is keep your nose clean of the debris from the allergens. Good luck!
