No one ever really "gets used" to anything. Either you like where you are, or you don't. Then you can either move, or stay and whine and make everyone around you hate you for never shutting up about how hot/cold it is.

The grass is always greener on the other side.
Unless your in San Diego!

The place I'm renting doesn't have a garage or carport and the outside temperature display read 108 when I first got in today. I need pot holders to open up the doors. I can't tell if it's the heat or I'm having hot flashes again. I already went through the change, so maybe I'm changing back. Here's a video of how I feel lately..

Then you have to deal with laws which make it impossible to do nearly everything I love to do. Not to mention the increased cost of living. Nah... I like this weather.

Good... Donate your house to someone who actually WANTS to be here and appreciates the state for what it is, then move somewhere else where you'll be more happy.

".which happened when the sun burned out their brain cells. "

Maybe they should have been wearing hats outside?

"I need pot holders to open up the doors. "

Now I can say I've heard it all.

If I had shade, I'd park in it. I have a couple of windshield shades to cover the front and the rear. It depends on what time I leave in the morning. If it's a very sunny day, the car is extremely hot. When I lived in Vero Beach, my rear speaker covers melted. I just googled a few words and found this, so I guess I'm not the only one! Mine is a 2006.

EDIT: Misread your post. I thought you were telling me to park in the shade.
