Question Who are the best builders in florida?

I've been looking to relocate to WPC (Wellington) possibly Jupiter or Coral Springs area. I was curious about the builders and their quality of work when it comes to hurricane resistant (I'm sure not completely) homes. Also, what type of roof is better? Steel, tile or shingle for protection against strong winds? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

We just bought a new home in Florida. If you want to know what items are best for hurricane resistance, call a insurance company selling home owners in Florida. They have reductions for certain things like hip roofs and all homes built after a certain date which have met upgraded hurricane requirements in the building process. New homes here have every 3rd block fully filled with concrete with rebar running through it into the ground and up through the walls attached to the roof. This keeps the roof intact during hurricane force winds. If you keep the roof intact you can save the house. Pitched roofs on older homes, I am told, cause more wind resistance and if not firmly attached those roofs blow off leaving the house open for distruction. Do your home work, basically do not buy an older pitch roof home and research your builder.
